The keto diet or ketogenic diet is a recent fad (which I hope will be here to stay) where the key thing is to only have 5% of your calorie intake come from carbohydrates and the rest from a medium level of protein and high level of fat. The percentages are 5% from carbohydrates, 25% protein and 70% fat. That’s a lot of percentage of fat calories. Thank goodness fat calories are dense! Fat also keeps you sated which is why the keto diet is so easy to follow despite having to ‘give up’ carbs.
This site is designed to be a resource for those of us who happen to have Asian leanings. Either be of Asian descent or Asian adapted or Asian sympathetic! All are welcome but it is based on my lens of the world and I happen to be of Chinese descent although I was brought up in Sydney Australia.
